ANNUAL BOARD MEETING FOR  2011

We had a nice turn out for the meeting with approximately 35 – including board members.

Valerie Payne from the RLPOA Duck Pond Building committee talked breifly about the survey she was leaving for us. Rsidents who didn’t attend the Duck Pond Building open house last week were asked to fill in the survey and leave it for them.

Committee Reports were given by the HOA members and committee chairpersons. Our new Board Members were voted in. They are Carol Keiter, and Donna Kenney. Carole Owsley and Bill Wilson are off of the board. New job assignments will be put on the website soon.

  LADIES DAY OUT

On Friday, March 29th, four car loads of ladies from the Villas attended the Princess Diana display at the Union Station. We had a great time. What made it even more special was her son William was married on the day we saw the display.

Mexican Fiesta 2011

The Social Committee, headed up by Diane Demarest, planned a really fun Mexican Fiesta on July 29, 2011. Everyone ate mexican food, prepared by the committee, and drank Margaritas, and we don’t know who prepared them but they were delicious.  The committee did a splendid job and deserves a rousing hand for all their efforts and for the magnificant way the party turned out. BRAVO, girls!!

It was estimated that we had about 48 people in attendance and every single person appeared to be having a wonderful time. We all visited with neighbors, got to know each other a bit better, and ate good food.

The refreshments were followed with a rousing game of Bingo. It looked like everyone was having a splendid time. Sure hope that looking at the pictures on the Photo page will encourage everyone to come out for the next one.

Till then, stay safe and enjoy life.
